The Lodge

Perfect for your country getaway, this recently renovated and beautifully furnished self contained lodge includes an open plan kitchenette and living area with a wood log burner. A perfect accommodation option for young families or for couples. Enjoy picturesque garden views and the surrounding bushland.

The bedding arrangements of this bushland retreat consist of one large bedroom including a queen & double bed. There is a day bed in the living area that can also be used. A bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity is easily accessible off the living room. The Lodge features a wood log burner that comfortably warms the entire space providing an intimate atmosphere.

The Lodge is attached to the Shearer’s Quarters and can be booked together for large groups of 15 people.

The kitchen includes; microwave, electric frypan, air fryer with pizza oven.

  Absolutely awesome! Spent a wholesome weekend with family and friends off grid. The house was perfect, warm and cosy and well stocked with the essentials, and the view is to die for! Loved the cheese platter on arrival, and we spent hours around the firepit simply taking it all in!!! Thanks Bek and Mick Xx

  This property is amazing! Just what we needed; off grid but with plenty of support and country style hospitality from Bek. Its not often that you find a place, especially off grid, that has everything you need at your fingertips, especially in the kitchen! Pleasantly surprised. Only one comment; it would be good to have washing machine facilities for a longer stay; but we understand the difficulties in providing that when the property is self sufficient with rain water collection. We will definitely be back for more. Thank you.

  The whole family were welcoming and Bek's thoughtful reception included helpful directions to the property, a cheese platter in the fridge, and a friendly face and orientation to the area on arrival. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated for our activities at Aussie Ark and Barrington Tops National Park. We would definitely stay again.

  This is an incredible property. A great location to visit Barrington Tops, Aussie Ark or just enjoy exploring the property itself. Bek is an amazing host who ensures you are settled & comfortable. This is the perfect place for a chill, adventure, or both. Full of wildlife & beautiful views, sunrises, sunsets & stary skies

Couldn’t have pick a better stay than Kurrara Cedar Cottage to see out 2022..Breathtaking views from either inside cottage or sitting out side at the bar..The air had that refreshing bite to it ..even though it was the end of December…
We found the cottage very comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was very well appointed and had all necessary utensils..no need for us to bring the basics (wash up liquid etc) . We were able to go for a lovely walk and look at some truely lovely old trees.
Another lovely surprise the night before had been a tad chilly so Bek had the fire going inside so the cottage was lovely and cosy as the night certainly cooled off.
